Fisk Friday: The Beginning of a Rainbow

As one of my goals for this year is spend more time focusing on Carlton Fisk and his cards, I have decided to make Friday the day wherein I will focus on Fisk.  Today is a simple post, one in which I want to show a new addition to my Fisk collection, one which I hope will be appreciated, even without logos.

2015 Panini Cooperstown Hall of Fame Crown Royale Die Cut #19

This is the purple parallel numbered 12/50 and it is beautiful.  Once again, Panini has demonstrated how apt they are at dealing with lack of logos, especially with catchers.

To pontificate for just a moment, the framing used for this card and photo are superb, much better than the Crusade Die-Cut from the previous year.  I’m no LaVar Burton, so I won’t ask you to take my word for it:

I don’t own this card, but I wanted there to be a good comparison.

Aside from the base, there are six parallels and though I am sure I won’t get them all, I want to at least attempt to get a partial rainbow.

I love 2015 Cooperstown die cuts too, purple being one of my more preferred colors. Fisk is gorgeous!
