On Man’s Trash Equals Two of My Favorite Catchers

Some may remember that I recently posted about pulling a Manny Machado auto-relic numbered to 10 and that I had absolutely no desire to keep it.  After a few emails and a trip to post office, I am happy to announce that I am no longer in possession of said card and have, in fact, obtained rookie cards of my two favorite players, Carlton Fisk and Gary Carter.

Thanks to Will, over at Foul Bunt, I can now cross two cards off my Ten Most Wanted cards.

Needless to say, I am extremely happy with this trade.  For those who don’t read his blog, or follow him on instagram (@wregenthal), he is a great dude and wonderful trade partner.

Now I will turn my attention to getting the ’75 Topps Mini of both catchers.
