Playing Catch Up

This summer has been a rough one at the catching up household. First I and then my wife got a terrible upper respiratory infection, during which we were down for at least a week each.

My summer class got canceled, which means funds were cut off for a lot of things.

Finally, and most recently, we just discovered that termites are eating through our house, which means that we have to treat our entire house and garage. We have to clean out the garage and pull up the carpet in our bedroom, so they can drill holes in the cement slab.

Unfortunately, until they have finished with the treatment, and we have made repairs, my ability to buy cards and send packages will be put on hold.

I know that I owe a number of you packages, and I have them ready. However, my lack of funds means that I won’t be able to send anything out for a while.

Hopefully, when all is said and done, I will still have some credibility and friends out there.

Jared, you have a good lot of friends here who understand life happens! I’m so sorry to hear about those nasty bugs. Termite damage can be expensive! I hope you won’t be offended if we continue to send packages. 😉 You’re gonna need ’em!

Speaking as someone whose life has gotten in the way of hobbies regularly lately, we’ll be here when you return and we’ll welcome you back with open arms. It amazes me that people do it with me, but they do.

  4. We will still be here my friend. Life has a tendency to get in the way of our hobby sometimes, but the cards will be there when you are ready.
