Houston, We Have a Problem

A Bear has been spotted in Houston!

I couldn’t be more elated by the news that came out yesterday afternoon: Evan Gattis was traded to the Astros.  My favorite current catcher will now be playing for one of my favorite teams, in the state where I live.

True, the Astros will now have an abundance of catchers, though there are several options now available to the club.  One thing is for sure, Minute Maid Park is the perfect park for Gattis to put up monster numbers.

It’s only 315 feet to the right field wall.  With Evan’s incredible power, I predict that he will hit at least 30 HR’s, and with the likes of Altuve and Lowrie hitting in front of him, I think he will have 90+ RBI’s.

Houston, get ready for El Oso Blanco to launch some bombs!

Awesome news! I’m an Astros fan too. Can’t wait for the first pitch of the 2015 season!
